Job Opportunity The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. We are looking for a registered nurse with 1-2 years of respiratory experience or community to join the Interstitial Lung Disease Service for an 18‑month fixed term contract. Responsibilities Look after a complex and diverse group of patients in the Interstitial Lung Disease Specialist service.
Monitor patients with Interstitial Lung Disease in a clinical setting. Provide nurse‑led clinics. Use oxygen therapies competently.
Manage appropriate medicines for patients. Deliver exceptional patient care, including patient education, breathlessness management, and palliative care. Work well within a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.
Exercise strong communication and interpersonal skills. Make sound clinical decisions and respond to the demanding nature of complex health problems. Qualifications Registered nurse with 1–2 years of respiratory experience or community nursing.
Strong interest in the management of Interstitial Lung Disease. Knowledge of breathlessness management and palliative care. Proficiency in oxygen therapies.
Expertise in medicines management for Interstitial Lung Disease. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and independently. xwzovoh Excellent clinical decision‑making skills.
