About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and experienced International Account Manager to take ownership of an international territory and portfolio of distributor partners.
You will work closely with distributors to develop territory plans, deliver sales targets, expand market penetration, launch products, identify new opportunities, and strengthen the organisation's presence across international markets.
This is a consultative, relationship-led sales role requiring someone who can operate confidently across different cultures, markets, and levels of seniority.
You will be expected to understand market dynamics, identify commercial opportunities, analyse competitor activity, forecast sales accurately, and translate strategy into measurable revenue growth. The role involves approximately 40% international travel, including the potential for 2–3 weeks away from home at a time, depending on business requirements.

Responsibilities – What you'll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of international distributor and channel partners across Brazil and assigned South American markets.
- Developing and executing distributor and country-level business plans to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Taking ownership of assigned territories and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and increased market penetration.
- Delivering monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual sales targets.
- Building strong, commercially focused relationships with distributors, healthcare customers, clinicians, educators, and key stakeholders.
- Supporting distributors to increase product penetration, customer reach, and market share.
- Developing smaller accounts and resellers into stronger, higher-value distribution partners.
- Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new distributors across assigned territories.
- Supporting new product launches and market-entry strategies.
- Developing annual territory plans based on market trends, healthcare developments, customer needs, and commercial opportunities.
- Monitoring competitor activity, pricing, market positioning, and emerging trends.
- Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to support business planning.
- Monitoring distributor performance against agreed KPIs, budgets, and revenue targets.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Providing product training and commercial guidance to distributor sales teams.
- Sharing sales best practice and international market knowledge with distribution partners.
- Supporting distributors with sales collateral, product positioning, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
- Representing the organization at international conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Ensuring products are accurately positioned and represented across distributor websites and sales channels.
- Maintaining accurate commercial information, sales data, forecasts, and account records using CRM and relevant business systems.
Requirements – What we're looking for
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience in international channel sales, distributor management, or partner sales.
- Proven experience independently managing an international region or territory.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Strong experience working with distributors, channel partners, or reseller networks.
- Experience developing new markets and launching products within international territories.
- Strong commercial planning, sales forecasting, and territory management skills.
- Comfortable working with sales budgets, targets, KPIs, and commercial data.
- Strong competitor analysis and market intelligence capability.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to present confidently to audiences ranging from C-suite executives to sales teams and end users.
- Excellent written and spoken Portuguese, Spanish, English,
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a territory.
- Willingness and ability to undertake significant international travel, approximately 40% of working time.
- Comfortable being away from home for extended international trips, potentially 2–3 weeks at a time.

- 1st price Fluent Portuguese
- Fluent business level Spanish is essential

Education & Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification preferred.
- A qualification or professional background in Nursing, Medicine, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Equivalent commercial experience will also be considered.

Work Schedule
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Brazil.
- The role requires flexibility to accommodate different international markets, customers, distributors, and time zones.
- International travel will form a significant part of the position, at approximately 40% of working time.
- Travel may include extended international trips of 2–3 weeks at a time, as well as conferences, exhibitions, distributor meetings, product launches, and customer visits.
