Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 plus sales bonus. Location: Balerno, Edinburgh Hours: 08:45-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:45-15:45 on Fridays. ABOUT UNICORN, INC.

ABOUT THE ROLE As our Internal Sales Superstar, you’ll be the first point of contact for keeping customers happy, orders moving, and the sales team fully supported. You’ll handle quotes, orders, enquiries and day‑to‑day communication with ease, making sure everything feels joined‑up and under control. At Unicorn Inc, we’re passionate about movement - from the running community to outdoor enthusiasts and golfers who live for fresh air and open spaces.
We work with retail partners, event organisers and everyday athletes who show up in all kinds of weather. We’re all about building strong, long‑term relationships and making every interaction feel easy, helpful and positive. Your mission is to keep customers feeling looked after, sales reps feeling supported, and every detail firmly under control.
If you enjoy talking to people, solving problems, staying organised and being part of a fun, motivated team, this role is for you. You’ll report to our Sales Manager and work closely with both the sales and operations teams to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Support & Sales Assistance Be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries – phone, email, you name it Help customers with product information, pricing, availability and recommendations.
Create quotes and follow up to turn them into confirmed orders. Process orders quickly and accurately so nothing goes astray. Proactively contact existing customers about stock needs, new products and current offers.
Support the sales team with light prospecting and outreach to potential new customers. Sales Coordination Support our external sales reps with information, documents and timely update Keep customer records, price lists and account details accurate and up to date Coordinate stock checks with the warehouse team so promises match reality Assist with sales campaigns, promotions and product launches. Order & System Management Enter orders into our systems with speed and accuracy.
Track order progress and update customers when things change. Flag any supply issues early so we can manage expectations. Help maintain clean, reliable sales data (future you will thank you).
Customer Relationships Build friendly, professional relationships with new and existing customers. Spot genuine opportunities to upsell or cross‑sell when it adds value. Make sure every interaction leaves customers feeling informed, supported and keen to come back.
Teamwork & Problem‑Solving Work closely with the sales, operations and stockroom teams to keep everything moving. Jump in to help resolve issues quickly and calmly. Bring a can‑do attitude, even on the busiest days.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING May or may not have a degree...we don’t care Detail oriented, doesn’t every job description say this? Be proactive! Know how to google a question to solve a problem Must have a good attitude, not afraid to ask questions and the drive to help customers and teammates succeed.
Owning a unicorn or a golden retriever is a big plus Love getting and giving feedback A friendly, confident phone manner and top-notch communication skills Strong organisation skills - you’re the type who loves a tidy inbox and a clear plan Experience in a sales support or customer service role (bonus points for internal sales experience!)
