Interim Product Marketing Lead
Gofractional
Job Description
The Role
You will own how Lyrebird's products show up in the market: the positioning, messaging, GTM, and launches that turn powerful clinical AI into something clinicians understand, trust, adopt and love. You will be the connective tissue between product, growth, brand, retention, sales, and our clinical team, and the person who makes sure the story we tell solves the problems that clinicians truly feel.
It is an owner and operator role: strategic enough to set a positioning and launch roadmap, and hands-on enough to pull the insights, brief or create the assets, and run the launch.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of parental leave, with potential to extend depending on business needs.
What you'll do
Own positioning and messaging across clinician segments, from GPs and specialists to allied health, clinic owners and managers, and the non-clinical staff who keep clinics running, grounded in the jobs clinicians hire Lyrebird to do
Lead go-to-market for new products and features, from narrative and naming through launch plan, enablement, adoption and retention
Be the voice of the customer, running interviews, win-loss, and research that sharpen our understanding of clinician needs, objections, and buying decisions, and feeding it back to product, brand, and growth
Own competitive intelligence and the category narrative: know the alternatives clinicians weigh better than they do, and build the positioning and battlecards that help us win
Equip sales and customer success with the narratives, collateral, pricing and packaging communication, and objection-handling they need to convert and retain clinicians
Build the proof that earns clinician trust: demonstrations, case studies, and evidence that show the product working in real clinical settings
Measure what works: define how you will know a launch, a message, or a piece of positioning has moved adoption, and use that to decide what to do next
What you'll bring
7+ years in product marketing, integrated marketing or a closely related go-to-market role, including owning positioning, messaging, and launches end to end
A track record of taking a product to market: you have built the narrative, run the launch, enabled the field, and measured the result
Strong customer instinct and research skill. You can turn messy customer input into sharp positioning, and you back your calls with evidence
Excellent writing. You can make a complex product simple, and make a busy professional care
Comfort working both strategically, owning a positioning and launch roadmap, and hands-on, writing the page and shipping the campaign
An AI-native, analytical way of working. You use AI across research, drafting, and analysis, and you are comfortable in the data
The ability to influence product, sales, and analytics partners without authority
Nice to have
Experience marketing to clinicians, or to another licensed professional audience where trust and evidence carry the decision
Familiarity with Australian healthcare, or the appetite to learn it quickly
Experience with a product-led or freemium product, and with the free-to-paid conversion motion
Comfort with SQL or a BI tool such as Sigma, Tableau, or Looker
