Key Duties and Responsibilities: Proactive use of multiple data sources to create insight including: Market data – Future trends, cultural impacts and commercial trends Consumer – Behavioural measures such as Kantar, Nielsen, Mintel, Bespoke Qual & Quant work Shopper – behavioural data sources such as Dunnhumby & advantage, IGD and Bespoke Qual & Quant work A supportive role to help deliver mixed methodology insights projects with the Insights Manager – UK Lead as and when work required Influencing business approach Creation of insight to shape marketing and R&D programmes through thorough report writing and communication of content Use of mixed methodologies to drive the best outcomes for insight derivation when supporting the team Finding the hidden insights across multiple data sources by creating a validated story and creating a clear action plan for the business based on the outputs Identifying gaps in understanding along the Path to Purchase and working with team and partner vendors to plan how to fill this understanding CPG Experience Working within a fast-paced CPG environment that covers Grocery, Specialists and Online Working alongside Marketing, R&D and Cat Man to deliver innovation across product and marketing comms Working with marketing leading brands to enable growth from a leadership position as well as challenger brands Ways of working Working in times of transition and demonstration of change management Team player and delivery of aligned goals across functions Empathetic approach to understanding diverse business questions Challenging and objective, using data to validate business orthodoxies Ability to simplify complex data sources into clear story telling – creating insight not data Turning multiple data points into demonstrable actions for the business Ability to present insight 1:1 as well as in group settings effectively Use of mixed methodologies to drive the best outcomes for insight derivation Understanding of the latest tech platforms and how to mine these for data Utilising multiple sources of data to tell the story Team Player Ability to work in the team environment and raise the bar Ability to lead in cross functional teams Seen as a key contributor to the business and its insight creation Please note that we are not able to offer visa sponsorship or assist with relocation support for this role.
