Job Description

St Michael’s Grammar School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicatedHumanities Teacher (Years 7-11) to join our Senior School. Thisfull-time, fixed-term role is ideal for a passionate educatorcommitted to student engagement and a vibrant School community.Commencing Term 4, 2026, the position concludes at the end of the2026 School year. We encourage early career Teachers to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessonsacross Years 7-11, including mixed-ability classes. Ability toteach Unit 2 Business Management is ideal.
  • Support student wellbeing through active participation inthe School's pastoral care program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture ofcontinuous improvement and innovation in teaching andlearning.
  • Contribute to the School’s co-curricular offerings inaccordance with the role’s time fraction.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
  • Current registration with theVictorian Institute ofTeaching (VIT).
  • Anaphylaxis and First Aid (essential)
