Job Description

The HR Manager will play a key role in supporting leadership, enhancing HR processes, ensuring legislative compliance, and helping scale the organization during a period of continued growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the HR function across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and policy administration Support a multi-site workforce, including union and non-union populations Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation, labour laws, and workplace safety requirements Partner with operations leadership to drive employee engagement, conflict resolution, and performance management Support workforce planning and hiring aligned with business growth and expansion Manage employee relations matters including investigations, discipline, and workplace accommodations Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation Contribute to organizational planning, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives Support compensation programs, attendance management, and HR process improvements Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused workplace culture Qualification 7+ years of progressive HR experience within food and beverage manufacturin g (required) Direct experience working in or supporting unionized environment s (required) Strong knowledge of Ontario employment standards, labour relations, and HR compliance Experience supporting plant-based or operational workforce Proven background in employee relations, policy development, and recruitment Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skill CHRP or CHRL designation is an asse Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
