Head of Performance Marketing

Nashie

QueenslandFull-timeMid LevelOn-site

Job Description

Nashie makes the collared, button‑up UPF50+ swim shirt — sun protection that doesn't look like sun protection. One shirt that handles the pool, the beach, and lunch afterwards. Beach to bar.

We sell across Australia, the USA and the UK from a single Shopify Plus store, and the brand is growing fast on both sides of the Pacific.

The role

Until now, every dollar of Nashie's ad spend has been planned, launched and scaled by the founder. That engine works — and it's now big enough that it needs a full‑time owner.

You'll take over a proven, profitable growth system and make it yours: paid acquisition across three markets, the creative and content pipeline that feeds it, and the email engine behind it. This isn't a strategy‑only role. You'll be in Ads Manager most days, on the tools with an outlook to grow with the company.

We are seeking a highly organised, motivated, deadline driven individual for a role with large potential.

What you own

  • Paid acquisition, end to end. Meta is our primary channel, with Google Ads alongside it. You'll run strategy, campaign builds, testing and scaling across our AU, US and UK markets.
  • The creative engine. Manage our video editor and graphic designer, brief UGC creators and production partners, and keep a constant pipeline of fresh ads flowing — creative built on real customers and real creators, not stock lifestyle shoots.
  • Product content. Plan and run product photo shoots, own product photography, and keep our PDPs sharp — imagery, copy and layout that convert.
  • Email & retention. Own Klaviyo — flows and campaigns across all three markets.
  • Scaling with discipline. Grow spend against clear CPA and contribution‑margin targets. We scale incrementally off clean baselines, cut underperformers fast, and never spray‑and‑pray.
  • Landing pages & CRO. Keep improving what happens after the click.
  • New channels. Test, measure, then kill or scale — new channels have to earn their place.
  • Reporting. Weekly performance rhythm straight to the founder. You'll always know your numbers.
  • A two‑hemisphere calendar. When Australia cools down, America heats up. You'll plan and shift budget around a genuinely year‑round season.

You're probably our person if

  • You've spent 4+ years running paid acquisition for DTC ecommerce brands — apparel a big plus.
  • You've personally scaled Meta ad accounts to serious spend, profitably — and you're strong on Google Ads too.
  • You're a hands‑on operator. You build the campaigns yourself; you don't just manage an agency.
  • You're AI‑first. AI is already woven through how you work every day, and you're constantly finding new ways to use it.
  • You're fluent in Klaviyo and Shopify.
  • You've got sharp creative judgement — you can watch 30 UGC clips and know which five become ads.
  • MER, CPA, AOV and contribution margin are your native language.
  • You want real ownership in a lean, founder‑led team where your work shows up in the numbers that week.
  • Photography or creative production background
  • SQL / BigQuery comfort

What you get

  • Full ownership of a proven, growing channel — not a cog‑in‑the‑machine role
  • A direct line to the founder, and decisions that happen in days, not quarters
  • Salary Range: $130-150k + super
  • Hybrid or full‑time WFH depending on location & experience.
  • Freedom to make decisions, and awesome ads. Drive link

Why Nashie, why now

We're at an inflection point. The decisions we make today, and the people we bring on right now, will define the next chapter of this business. If you want a role where your contribution is visible and the energy of a scaling brand fuels you every day, this is it.

How to apply

  • Send your resume and a short cover note through this ad. Include a short note on how you're currently using AI in your day‑to‑day life as well as your current thoughts on Meta ads – what works and what doesn’t.
