Role Description The Head of Business Development at Aerlinked is a volunteer, remote role focused on driving growth and strategic partnerships. This position leads the development and execution of the business development strategy, including identifying new markets, building a robust sales pipeline, and nurturing key relationships with prospects and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitive analysis, collaborating with product and marketing teams to align go-to-market plans, and overseeing outreach efforts to target accounts.
The role also involves refining processes for lead qualification, supporting account management initiatives, and reporting on performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. The Head of Business Development is expected to work autonomously, coordinate with a distributed team, and contribute to the long-term success of Aerlinked.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Development and Sales skills, with experience driving growth and building pipelines.
- Business Planning abilities, including developing strategies, setting targets, and prioritizing market opportunities.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess market trends, and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Account Management experience, including maintaining client relationships and supporting long-term partnerships.
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS, CRM, or sales technology environments is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, volunteer capacity, demonstrating initiative, reliability, and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
