Job Description

Location: Remote — United States, Canada, or India

Engagement: Hourly contract

Experience: 8–10+ years

About the role

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Growth and Performance Marketing Lead to manage digital marketing across a small portfolio of client accounts.

This is not an advisory-only or team-management position. You must be able to assess campaign performance, develop the strategy, and personally build, run, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.

You will work with an internal team that can support you with content, creative assets, client data, and execution. You will be responsible for turning those inputs into effective campaigns, measurable results, and clear recommendations.

We need someone with head-of-marketing-level judgment who is still comfortable working directly inside advertising platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Audit existing advertising accounts, campaigns, tracking, and performance
  • Develop paid-media strategies based on each client’s objectives and available data
  • Personally build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns
  • Manage targeting, budgets, bidding, testing, conversion tracking, and attribution
  • Work across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Translate performance data into clear decisions and recommendations
  • Identify underperforming campaigns and take corrective action quickly
  • Coordinate with our content and creative team on campaign requirements
  • Support landing-page, content, email, and conversion strategies when needed
  • Provide concise weekly reports covering results, insights, and next actions
  • Join client calls when strategic or performance-marketing expertise is required
  • Use AI tools effectively for research, analysis, testing, and campaign development

What we are looking for
  • At least 8–10 years of relevant digital and performance marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • Strong knowledge of analytics, conversion tracking, attribution, and campaign economics
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts or business units
  • Ability to work independently without requiring constant direction
  • Strong strategic judgment combined with hands-on platform expertise
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Availability for reasonable overlap with US business hours
  • Agency or consulting experience is preferred

What this role is not
  • An entry-level or junior marketing position
  • A strategy-only consulting engagement
  • A role where campaign execution is delegated to someone else
  • A content-only, social-media-only, or brand-marketing position

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will:

  • Participate in an initial experience and strategy interview.
  • Complete a paid practical assessment using anonymized campaign information.
  • Present their analysis, recommendations, and execution plan.
  • Begin with a 30-day hourly contract if selected.

The paid assessment is intended to evaluate how you analyze real performance data, identify problems, prioritize opportunities, and translate strategy into execution.

How to apply

Please include:

  • A short summary of your relevant experience
  • The advertising platforms you have personally managed
  • Examples of campaign budgets and account types you have handled
  • Two examples of measurable results you directly contributed to
  • Your hourly rate and weekly availability
  • Your location and availability for US-hours overlap

Please do not submit only a general résumé. Applications that clearly demonstrate hands-on performance-marketing experience will receive priority.
