Role: GIS Data Analyst

Required Technical Skill Set

\n

• Spatial Data Editing, Transformation and Analysis

\n

• ArcGIS Pro

\n

• GeoProcessing Tools/Tasks

\n

• Knowledge of Various GIS Data formats (FGDB, Shapefiles, CSV etc)

\n

• Esri GeoDatabase (PostgreSQL)

\n

• Spatial Queries on PostgreSQL

\n

• Hands on Experience on UNM Data Model

\n

• Python Development with strong ArcPy.

\n

Arcade skills for automation, data cleanup, and validation

\n

• Experience in spatial data transformation, ETL processes, and data migration tools like FME, ArcGIS Data Interoperability

\n

• Skills on executing Spatial Analysis and experience with ToolBox Tools of ArcGIS Pro

\n

• Good grasp of SQL, spatial queries, and relational database concepts

• 2 to 8 years of hands-on GIS experience with at least 1 year in Data Transformation/Migration projects.
\n
• Experience working with ArcGIS Pro, Geoprocessing Tasks and Esri Geodatabases.
\n
• Experience in spatial data transformation, ETL processes, and data migration tools like FME, ArcGIS Data Interoperability, or Python.
\n
• Skills on executing Spatial Analysis and good experience in the usage of Toolbox Tools of ArcGIS Pro.
\n
• Good grasp of SQL, spatial queries, and relational database concepts (ProgreSQL+PostGIS,).
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

\n

\n
• Collect, Clean, Process and maintain spatial and attribute data from multiple sources.
\n
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain geospatial data for telecom networks including fiber, copper, coax, and wireless infrastructure.
\n
• Configure and maintain datasets in ArcGIS Utility Network (UN) model aligned with telecom business requirements.
\n
• Assist in the migration of legacy data from traditional telecom systems to ArcGIS UN.
\n
• Perform data validation, QA/QC, and integrity checks on geospatial and attribute data.
\n
• Support the modelling of telecom network features like ducts, manholes, splice points, cables, closures, and equipment using UN schema.
\n
• Develop and maintain geoprocessing scripts or tools (using Python/ArcPy or ModelBuilder) for automating data updates and reporting.
\n
• Generate reports using ArcGIS Pro if required.
\n
• Preparation of ArcGIS Pro Map Templates with Symbology and configurations
\n
• Preparation of GIS WebMaps with configurations.
