Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Chennai. The General Dentist will perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose and treat oral health conditions, and provide restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.

Daily responsibilities include conducting preventive care visits, performing scaling and root planing, managing dental emergencies, and delivering patient education on oral hygiene and treatment options. The role involves working closely with dental assistants and other team members to ensure efficient clinical workflows, accurate documentation, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The dentist is expected to maintain high standards of care, communicate clearly with patients, and participate in case discussions and ongoing clinical learning.
Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills in general dentistry, including diagnosis, restorative procedures, endodontic treatments, and basic periodontal care.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation using dental practice management or electronic health record systems.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and regulatory compliance relevant to dental practice.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with patients, explaining treatment options, and collaborating with the dental team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous professional development through courses, workshops, or conferences.
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution; valid dental license/registration to practice in India.
  • Experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Chennai, manage a consistent patient schedule, and adapt to a growing practice environment.
