Job Description
Coordinator will be responsible for securing donations, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions from local businesses, corporations, and community organizations to support our upcoming fundraiser. This role involves outreach, relationship building, and coordination to ensure the success of the event and strengthen long-term partnerships with donors. Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential corporate and community partners for donations and sponsorships.
Contact organizations via phone, email, and in person to solicit monetary or in-kind donations. Develop and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring they receive appropriate recognition and follow-up. Maintain accurate records of all contacts, pledges, and donations received.
Collaborate with the fundraising and event planning team to align outreach efforts with overall event goals. Draft sponsorship packages, donation request letters, and follow-up correspondence. Assist in organizing and coordinating logistics for donation pickup or delivery.
Support event-day operations as needed, ensuring donor recognition and acknowledgment. Qualifications Proven experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or community outreach preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with phone and in-person solicitation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus.
