FP&A Analyst

Your next adventure awaits at Questel! NOTE: This is an on-site position in the city of Arequipa. This role is expected to work 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Peru Time (PET, UTC-5) to support collaboration with teams in Europe.

As part of the FP&A Team within the Finance Department, you will report to either an FP&A Senior Analyst or Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build business reviews of your perimeter
• Ensure reliability, compliance with accounting rules, homogeneity, and completeness within deadlines
• Maintain and improve the quality of data and reporting production
• Run checks to ensure data consistency for reporting
• Help switch from Excel to BI tools, consolidating data in a single environment
• Increase automation and improve the reporting process to reduce delays
• Improve relevance and quality of reporting
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of data shared in reviews to answer stakeholder needs and understand activities

Group Reporting

• Build monthly reporting of your perimeter within deadlines
• Ensure reliability, compliance, homogeneity, and completeness within deadlines
• Maintain and improve data quality and reporting production
• Help ensure correct reporting within group P&L
• Run checks to ensure data consistency and collaborate with other departments for data cleaning
• Understand and help build allocation rules toward the P&L of your Business Units
• Help switch from Excel to BI tools, consolidating data in a single environment
• Increase automation and reduce delays in reporting process

Budget & Reforecast

• Organize budget meetings with Budget Owners and retrieve inputs during budget season
• May work on budgeting & forecasting on items not in your initial perimeter
• Bring budget & forecast data into reporting with budget owners to ensure ownership

General

• Provide help to the team even beyond your initial perimeter if inputs are useful for global consistency
• Work with other departments and may need to negotiate or convince on behalf of the group Finance department for best interests
• Represent the FP&A Department and Questel positively with positive thinking, initiative, and willingness to go the extra mile

Management

• May manage FP&A Junior Analysts

Qualifications

• 3-8 years experience in accounting or FP&A in an international group or delivering similar services via Big 4 audit firm
• Advanced Accounting and Excel skills
• Rigorous, organized, trustworthy, and curious personality
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, ever‐changing environment
• Highly motivated, striving for continuous improvement and optimization
• Fluent in English
