The Opportunity The Canada Gas Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is seeking two highly analytical and collaborative personnel to support a broad range of planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the Canada Gas portfolio. These roles support core Canada Gas FP&A activities and provide exposure to a broad range of financial analysis, planning, and decision‑support work. Successful candidates will partner closely with teams across FP&A, CFO, Operations, Projects, and leadership to deliver timely, accurate financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do Prepare and deliver financial analysis and reporting activities including insightful variance analysis to support management discussions and informed decision‑making Support short‑ and long‑term planning and forecasting cycles through financial modeling, analysis, and preparation of supporting materials Perform analysis of financial performance and trends to support tracking against established targets and objectives Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to support financial planning, analysis, and related business initiatives Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for a variety of stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes, reporting, and tools Support financial governance, assurance, and data integrity activities Support system and process initiatives, including SAP+, BPC, SAC, or other FP&A transformation efforts Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline Professional designation (CPA) preferred or working towards certification Minimum of four (4) years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within regulated pipeline or utility sectors Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences Advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization Strong analytical mindset with a drive to understand and interpret financial data Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements Experience with SAP, BPC, and/or SAC Benefits and Working Conditions Hybrid work model Flexible dress code for eligible office‑based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico Equal Employment Opportunity TC Energy is an equal opportunity employer and participates in the E‑Verify program supervised by the US government.
