About the Role

We are looking for energetic, reliable, and hard-working team members to join our iconic NYC waffle trucks. This is NOT just a driving job - this is a full food truck operations position. You'll be responsible for driving the truck, preparing and serving food, interacting with customers, and helping create the fun, high-energy experience that makes Wafels & Dinges a New York Institution.

What you will do

• Drive and operate a Wafels & Dinges food truck safely throughout NYC.
• Set up and break down daily operations.
• Prepare Belgian wafels and toppings according to company standards.
• Serve customers quickly and professionally.
• Handle POS/cash transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Represent the company with positive energy and professionalism.
• Help create a fun customer experience and drive sales.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable driving larger vehicles OR willing to learn.
• NY Food Vendor License preferred OR willing to obtain one (company will pay for it).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• High energy and positive attitude.
• Team player with integrity and professionalism.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for long shifts.
• Customer service or food service experience is a plus.
• Must understand this role includes BOTH driving and food preparation/service.
