Fixed Term full-time Nanny Role in Hinkley, Leicester

Job Overview

A welcoming family in Leicester are seeking a fixed-term Nanny to assist mum with their two children while dad works away for 5 weeks. This role is an ASAP start until August 21st. The family would ideally like support 6 days a week from 10am until 5pm but there is some flexibility on this.

They have a 3‑year‑old and a 7‑year‑old and need an extra pair of hands in a mixed sole charge/shared care capacity to assist with the children.

Responsibilities

• Assist mum with the daily care of two children while dad is away.
• Provide standard nursery duties and light housework such as laundry and ironing.
• Use initiative to organise developmentally appropriate activities for the children.
• Support mum with daily activities and trips.
• Work alongside mum to take the pressure off while dad is away.

Requirements

• Relevant childcare experience.
• First aid and DBS certificate essential; 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and up‑to‑date enhanced DBS required.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees; one must be your current or last employer and both must be immediately contactable.
• Ability to work live‑in or live‑out.
• Professional insurance (nanny insurance) recommended.

Job Details

• Location: Hinkley, Leicester.
• Hours: 10am – 5pm.
• Days required: 6 days a week (if possible).
• Start date: 20th July.
• End date: 21st August.
• Pay: £3,465 total for 5 weeks (£16.50 per hour).
• This is a fixed‑term role.
