Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with an Inventory focus for our Corporate Accounting team . The position is fully remote and open to candidates in either Winnipeg or Toronto. The position reports directly to the Manager of Accounting.

They will have the opportunity to engage with a talented team and gain valuable experience. The incumbent will ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of information processed in our accounting system and have the skills to lead and encourage individuals within the department. Compensation listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate experience.

Responsibilities Perform periodic analysis of cycle count results to identify and resolve variances between store‑level systems and the corporate accounting platform Review and analyze annual and mid‑year physical inventory counts, ensuring accurate valuation and proper recording of adjustments Prepare and reconcile inventory and related balance‑sheet accounts, including accruals and valuation adjustments Review and analyze store‑level inventory transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Support period‑end and quarter‑end close activities related to inventory, including reconciliations and journal entries Maintain and strengthen internal controls and processes to ensure the integrity of inventory data and financial reporting Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to streamline inventory accounting and reporting procedures Participating, supporting, and driving corporate‑wide financial priorities & initiatives Prepare ad hoc inventory and financial analyses to support management decision‑making Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Commerce degree with finance and/or accounting specialization 2–4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on inventory or cost accounting preferred Strong interpersonal and communications skills both oral and written Adaptable to changing processes, competing deadlines, and fast‑paced environments Highly organized and manages their own and others’ tasks with ease Mindset of continuous improvement Experience with inventory reconciliation and reporting Experience with sales margin and analysis Advanced Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel skills, including Pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, etc. Experience in the following systems considered to be an asset: Business Central and Microstrategy BI Experience in multi‑location and/or retail business environment considered to be an asset Neighbourly Pharmacy is an equal opportunity employer.
