What’s a typical day as a Financial Analyst IV? You’ll be: Overseeing month-end activities, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units or central function groups. Reporting monthly financial results—including budgets, forecasts, and actuals—to Senior Leadership with actionable mitigation strategies.

Providing financial counsel and active support to O&M Managers, Supervisors, and Senior Executive stakeholders. Serving as the Finance Lead for VPs or Directors, offering financial guidance and analysis to inform strategic business decisions. Recommending and implementing streamlined analytics practices, and standardizing approaches to achieve competitive financial performance across the organization.

Building collaborative relationships with business unit leaders and supporting groups to validate processes and drive business results. Assisting in periodic forecasting, budgeting cycles, long-range planning, and delivering ad hoc analyses as needed. Ensuring reporting consistency within regulatory frameworks, supporting SOX controls, managing risk, and contributing to audit requirements.

Driving process and system enhancements within GDS Finance to maximize efficiency and compliance. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Hold a university degree in Business (required); finance-related designation (CMA, CA, CPA, CGA, or MBA) is preferred but equivalent experience is highly valued. Have 5+ years of post-qualification experience in business performance analytics or related finance roles.

Are highly analytical, with excellent financial modeling skills and deep experience interpreting and presenting financial data. Are proficient in SAP, Oracle, and PowerBI (preferred), with advanced MS Excel skills. Demonstrate advanced business acumen and knowledge of regulatory environments and financial reporting standards.

Thrive in a collaborative environment, excel at building cross-functional relationships, and possess superior communication, persuasion, and influencing skills. Can effectively manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while seeking to streamline and continuously improve processes. Bring experience working in a regulated industry and understand the nuances of compliance and operational controls.
