Job Description

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making.
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with tax regulations and support audits as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and organised financial records to support business operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Have completed and or working towards CA/CPA
• Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in PowerBI
• A thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the FMCG industry is highly regarded.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
