Role Overview The Finance Manager will play a critical role in strengthening the finance function at The KariGhars.

This is a hands-on role involving financial planning and analysis, reporting, compliance, and process building. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, bring structure to finance operations, and improve overall business efficiency in a project-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions Drive accounts payable and receivable, including billing, collections, and vendor payments Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Close books within defined timelines for month-end and year-end Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Track project-level costs, monitor expenses, and identify cost optimization opportunities Manage working capital including receivables, payables, and cash flow planning Ensure end-to-end compliance with: Direct Taxation: Income Tax, TDS, assessments, and notices Indirect Taxation: GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC validation Other statutory requirements such as PF and Professional Tax Close statutory, tax, and internal audits, including preparation of schedules and resolution of audit queries Drive closure of overdue receivables and vendor reconciliations Build and continuously improve SOPs for accounting, billing, payments, and reporting Enforce internal controls, policy adherence, and data integrity Work closely with Sales, Operations, HR, and Project teams for financial alignment Build MIS, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Google Sheets, Power Query, and Power BI Deliver actionable financial insights to leadership for decision-making Education & Experience (Mandatory) Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) โ€“ Mandatory Experience: 3โ€“5 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts Strong hands-on experience in finalisation of accounts, GST, TDS, audit handling, and working capital management Hands-on expertise in Tally, Microsoft Excel, and Zoho Books for accounting, reconciliations, and reporting Experience in project-based industries such as interior design, construction, real estate, or contracting will be preferred Skills Required Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Good grasp of cash flow and working capital management High attention to detail and analytical ability Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ownership mindset with a process-driven approach Why Join Us High ownership role with direct access to leadership and decision-making Opportunity to build and shape the finance function from the ground up Fast-paced environment with strong learning and visible impact on business outcomes Competitive pay with growth aligned to performance
