Job Summary Finance Manager – an individual contributor and trusted finance partner to senior leaders at QNX (a BlackBerry subsidiary). The role drives informed decision‑making and ensures alignment to financial strategy across a complex, global organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership: act as a reliable finance partner, providing cross‑functional support to FP&A team and senior leaders.

Capital Planning: own the end‑to‑end capital investment and spend forecasting process for assigned functions. Consolidation: own the end‑to‑end business unit financials consolidation ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare high‑quality presentation materials for executive reviews, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision‑making.

Financial Modeling & Analysis: build and maintain dynamic models, forecasts, and budgets that inform strategic decisions and optimize performance. Insight Generation: analyze variances, identify trends, and deliver clear variance reasons to support budget alignment and profitability improvement. Compliance & Governance: review and approve spend requisitions, reconcile accounts, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and corporate policies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: partner with Engineering, Sales, HR, and other teams to align financial objectives and enable seamless operations. Executive Reporting: create compelling reports and presentations ensuring clarity and strategic relevance. Process Optimization: continuously assess and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a complex or global organization. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and tools; familiarity with NetSuite or Workday Adaptive Planning is a bonus. Ability to adapt and pivot with ease as priorities change.

Independent and collaborative work style in a busy environment. Compensation & Benefits Weekly hours: 40. Salary range (base): $89,600.00 – $126,000.00 (actual offer determined at hire).
