Field Service Technician

Job purpose: Our client is looking for a field service technician to install service and maintain the suite of Petrol Station Equipment including Dispensers, Tank gauges, EPOS systems and Media solutions. Key Responsibilities: Service and maintain remotely or onsite systems installed and supported by the company Installation and commissioning of new equipment. Repair, modify, and test electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment associated with forecourt equipment.

Controlling and co-ordinating, with the Field Supervisor, the daily workloads for field technicians to ensure maximum efficiency and utilisation of field technicians while maintaining successful SLA % and customer satisfaction. Produce timely and accurate service reports. Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set SLA.

Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times. Ensure compliance with set HSSE guidelines. Education and experience: 3rd Level Qualification Higher Certificate and/or Trade Qualification (or equivalent in expereince) Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems Ability to voltage test AC/DC single and three phase supplies.

Understanding of PC Hardware and Architecture. Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to prioritise issues based on business urgency.

Following and executing company policies and objectives. The ability to function successfully as part of a team Clean driving licence. Strong customer service skills with ability to interact confidently and professionally with end customer.
