Field Service Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a long-term international technology project, working onsite in Lisbon and gaining experience with enterprise server technologies, troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support.

🚀 What will your mission be?

We are looking for a Dell Server Field Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal, providing onsite technical support at the customer's premises.

Your main responsibility will be to provide hands-on technical support for server hardware, carrying out troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs and component replacements, while ensuring the proper operation of the infrastructure.

You will work closely with technical teams to resolve incidents and perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a Field Engineer, Server Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Data Center Technician, IT Infrastructure Technician or similar.
• Hands-on experience with server hardware, troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Experience with enterprise server technologies such as Dell PowerEdge, HPE, Lenovo or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Experience with firmware updates and server management tools.
• Knowledge of Dell iDRAC or equivalent technologies would be an advantage.
• Experience working in data centers or onsite customer environments will be highly valued.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow technical procedures.
• Good communication and customer-oriented skills.
• Fluent Portuguese and English (bilingual/C1 level).
• Availability to work onsite in Lisbon, Monday to Friday, during business hours.
