Fertility Nurse

Location: Cardiff About London Women’s Clinic is a leading private fertility clinic delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a patient-centred environment. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Fertility Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. The role As a Senior Fertility Nurse at LWC, you will manage a clinical caseload and provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the fertility treatment pathway.

Working closely with consultants, embryology, nursing, and wider teams, you will ensure care is delivered in line with LWC SOPs and HFEA requirements , while contributing to clinical governance and service improvement. Key responsibilities Deliver high-quality, individualised nursing care within a regulated fertility setting Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinic policies and HFEA guidance Assist in clinical procedures such as Hysteroscopy’s, Hycosy’s, Endometrial scratch/biopsy, Polypectomy, Coil insertion and removal, Cervical smears Provide Phlebotomy services for collection of specimens, labelling and despatching to the outside laboratory as per current Clinic SOPs. Perform clinical observations and procedures Advocate for patients and escalate concerns appropriately Maintain a safe, clean and well-stocked clinical environment Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure excellent patient care About you Essential: Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Midwife with a valid NMC PIN At least 4 years of nursing experience, NMC registered and be trained as a fertility nurse.

Scanning and follicular tracking Hysteroscopy’s, Hycosy’s, Endometrial scratch/biopsy, Polypectomy, Coil insertion and removal, Cervical smears Phlebotomy Excellent communication / interpersonal skills Precise time management skills Robust organisational skills Ability to work under instruction and autonomously within scope of practice Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills Competent in Intermediate Life Support (ILS).
