Female Physical Education (PE) Teacher – Swimming & Sports

Bangalore International School (BIS) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Female Physical Education Teacher to join our team.

Position: Female PE Teacher – Swimming & Sports

Location: Bangalore

Experience: Prior experience in a school environment preferred

Key Requirements

• B.P.Ed. or M.P.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
• Strong experience and/or demonstrated expertise in Swimming and other sports.
• Prior school teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to plan and conduct engaging PE lessons for students of different age groups.
• Good knowledge of sports, fitness, physical conditioning, and student safety.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for promoting physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct PE and swimming sessions for students.
• Coach students in swimming and other sporting activities.
• Organise and support sports events, competitions, and school activities.
• Ensure appropriate safety practices during PE and swimming sessions.
• Identify and encourage students with potential in different sports.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for students.
