Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Project Engineer will lead and support the planning, coordination, and execution of facilities, safety, and utility infrastructure upgrade projects across the site.
  • Working cross functionally with other departments on site such as EHS, Warehouse etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, improving operational resilience, and managing contractors and internal stakeholders through all project phases.
  • Plan and manage facilities and safety upgrade projects across operational and support buildings.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to define project scope, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and milestones for utility‑related infrastructure and safety system upgrades.
  • Co‑ordinate the install and testing team on improvement and upgrade projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related discipline; Level 8 NFQ or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project engineering, facilities, or utilities role within a regulated or industrial environment.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with facilities and utility systems.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and external contractors.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach.
