Event Service Manager

Lily & Wild is seeking an experienced Event Service Manager to lead the delivery of weddings, corporate events, racecourse hospitality, private functions and high-profile government and state events.

This is a hands-on operational role for someone who can lead teams confidently, manage service from setup through to breakdown, and ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading front-of-house teams during events
• Coordinating event setup, service and breakdown
• Briefing staff and allocating duties
• Liaising with clients, venue teams, chefs and bar supervisors
• Monitoring service standards, presentation and guest experience
• Managing operational issues calmly and efficiently
• Ensuring food safety, manual handling and health and safety procedures are followed
• Supporting the ongoing development and performance of the events team

The successful candidate will have:

• At least three years’ experience in hospitality or catering operations
• Previous supervisory or event management experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Experience in weddings, luxury events, corporate functions, racecourse hospitality, formal dining or state events would be an advantage.
