Estimation Engineer

Job Title: Estimation Engineer (Electrical Panels) Location: Mumbai Experience: 1–2 Years Industry: Electrical Panels / Switchgear / EPC Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in the electrical panel industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, and supporting the sales team in securing projects. Candidates with experience in panel manufacturing or EPC companies are be preferred.

Key Responsibilities: Study tender documents, BOQs, SLDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications. Prepare cost estimates for LT/HT panels including PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, and synchronization panels. Perform component selection (ACBs, MCCBs, relays, busbars, etc.) based on project requirements.

Floating enquiries and obtaining competitive quotations from vendors. Prepare techno-commercial proposals with detailed costing and margin analysis. Coordinate with design, purchase, and project teams for technical clarifications.

Value engineering to optimize cost without compromising quality. Maintain cost database and update pricing trends regularly. Support Business Development team during client discussions if required.

Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of electrical panels and switchgear components Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings (SLD, GA) Knowledge of costing, vendor negotiation, and commercial terms Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory) Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred) Good communication and coordination skills Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset Preferred Candidate Profile: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering 1–2 years of experience in estimation of electrical panels
