Scada Engineer

**Immediate/Early Joiners Preferred** We are hiring for our client (a large Silicon Valley organization) an Ignition Developer with 8+ years of experience ; someone with strong expertise in Supervisory Control and Data Execution (SCADA) /Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and industrial integrations ? You will design, develop, and maintain scalable SCADA/MES applications, integrate industrial systems, and build data-driven dashboards and APIs. Core Technical Skills: Ignition Platform Expertise Proficiency in Ignition Designer Strong experience with Perspective (web-based) and Vision modules Ability to build, configure, and maintain scalable SCADA/MES applications Web Development & APIs Experience with Ignition Web Dev module Ability to create and expose RESTful APIs Handle HTTP requests/responses Build custom web services and integrate third-party applications Scripting & Logic Strong proficiency in Python/Jython Experience in component customization, event scripting, and automation Database Management Expert-level SQL knowledge (MySQL, MSSQL) Experience in data logging, reporting, and transaction group configuration Industrial Protocols Hands-on experience with OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, BACnet Experience in PLC and device integration Tag & View Design Ability to build scalable User Defined Types (UDTs) Strong focus on reusable and maintainable tag structures Key Responsibilities & Additional Skills: Networking & IT/OT Integration Knowledge of network architectures Ensure secure and reliable data flow between factory floor and enterprise systems Security Implement best practices for Ignition security User authentication and role-based access control Secure API design within Web Dev module Process Knowledge Understanding of industrial operations (OEE, manufacturing processes) Ability to build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools Eligibility: B.E. / B Tech / M.E. / M Tech / Computer Science / Information Technology 8+ years of relevant experience You may also share your resume with us at
