This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering professional to lead the engineering function within a modern, highly automated manufacturing environment, managing a team of engineers while driving reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement. The business has continued to invest in its people, facilities and technology, with ambitious plans for continued growth.
The Role As Engineering Manager reporting to Senior Operations, you'll take ownership of engineering performance across the site, ensuring equipment reliability and availability while supporting production targets. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a team of engineers Managing the preventative maintenance programme and CMMS Ensuring equipment reliability, availability and performance Supporting Production to achieve efficiency and output targets Managing engineering budgets, spares and service contracts Ensuring engineering activities meet Health & Safety, BRC and statutory requirements Driving continuous improvement, reliability and efficiency projects Working closely with Operations and Quality to prioritise engineering requirements Supporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives What We're Looking For Previous experience in an Engineering Management role within manufacturing environment Strong practical engineering experience Experience managing a team of engineers Strong knowledge of maintenance, automation and CMMS Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs Strong planning, organisational and budget management skills Proven experience delivering continuous improvement projects What's on Offer?
