Perform the technical inspection of entry and exit in order to maintain the high quality of the services provided and the timely provision of services and repairs classified as less complex in Olympus equipment, following the procedures of the area for disassembly, repair, assembly and final functional tests, ensuring the quality of the service provided.
Job Duties
- Perform repairs classified as less complex on Olympus equipment, following the procedures of the area for disassembly, repair, assembly and final functional tests, ensuring the quality of the service provided.
- When necessary, perform cleaning, disinfection and drying procedures for flexible endoscopes, preparing them for technical inspections and subsequent repair/replacement of parts, considering and applying the quality aspects established by the organization.
- Carry out the technical inspection in order to prepare budgets, considering and applying the quality aspects established by the organization.
- Carry out the technical inspection of departure to ensure repair in accordance with the manufacturer's procedures.
- Maintain and improve the quality control system implemented in the service laboratory in terms of equipment repair, organization of tools and devices, location of active or third‑party equipment, organization and work environment.
- Comply with customer complaints, administrative and operational procedures, updating information in the system, technical and/or quality inspection forms and other documents necessary to guarantee the control and traceability of the services performed.
- Use all available system platforms and registration formats established by the company to measure and control the operation of the Technical Service.
- Permanently improve processes through established channels, reporting problems or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review the repair and diagnostic processes described in ENDONAVANI daily.
- Correct handling of laboratory supplies, tools and equipment.
- Responsibly use all physical resources provided by the company for the proper execution of their work, including elements of personal, collective and infrastructure security.
- Comply with all provisions established in the policy, objectives and procedures of the Quality Management System.
- Report any discrepancies or deviations in a timely and truthful manner.
- Report on the progress of the assigned works according to the established procedures and intranet.
- Work in accordance with Lean Management guidelines by applying 5S and any other Lean tool.
- Report the stock of supplies necessary to carry out the repair work.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training, ideally with training or specialization in areas related to mechanics, electricity and/or electronics.
- Minimum of 1‑year experience in medical device repair.
- Experience in the Clinical Area.
- User‑level computing, user‑level Microsoft Office management, ideally intermediate‑level Excel management.
- Basic level technical English.
- Ability to diagnose problems.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow technical instructions.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Constant updating and professional ethics.
