Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual Title: Emergency Registered Nurse Both the Grey Nuns Community Hospital (GNCH) and the Misericordia Community Hospital (MCH) are full‑service acute care sites serving diverse urban populations. Our Emergency Departments are fast‑paced, team‑driven environments where nurses play a vital role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence‑informed nursing interventions Administer medications and implement prescribed treatments Monitor, evaluate and document patient progress Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health and support staff Support patient and family education and discharge planning Act as an advocate for patient safety and wellbeing Provide care aligned with Covenant Health’s Mission, Vision, Values and professional standards Benefits Competitive hourly wage ranging from $43.26 to $59.21 plus applicable premiums Health, dental, vision and travel coverage Local Authority Pension Plan Group RRSP and TFSA Flexible spending account Employee discounts Training and education opportunities Qualifications A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a Registered Nurse program Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (Level C) Recent Emergency Department experience (within the last two years) Recent ICU/CCU experience and/or a minimum of 3 years in Medical, Surgical, or Labour & Delivery within the last 5 years may be considered for various roles Preferred, but not required, credentials include one or more of the following: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ENA Emergency Nursing Certificate, NRP, ITLS, ACCN #J-18808-Ljbffr
