Exec Talent Partner Ltd is privileged to be recruiting for a beautiful 4* Hotel in the midlands for the wonderful opportunity of Director of Sales & Marketing to join their team.
This is a great chance for a current DOS or number two to join this wonderful resort hotel that holds a great reputation in the midlands of been a wonderful luxury resort hotel offering Spa & leisure facilities and grounds.
This hotel holds a luxury stay while accommodating a busy Corporate conference business, wedding and banqueting & leisure guests.
Role Description:
The Director of Sales Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Dublin, responsible for leading commercial growth initiatives across the hotel. This role oversees the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies, builds and maintains relationships with key clients, and identifies new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
Daily responsibilities include managing and coaching sales and marketing teams, setting performance targets, monitoring sales pipelines, and analysing market trends to refine go-to-market plans.
The Director collaborates with internal stakeholders to align brand positioning, digital campaigns, and customer engagement activities, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable results.
The role also involves representing the company at industry events, preparing reports for senior leadership, and ensuring high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Business Development, with a proven track record of achieving revenue growth and expanding market presence in previous hospitality sales Management.
- Strong background in Sales Operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and process optimization.
- Experience leading high-performing teams, with effective Team Management skills and the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop talent.
- Excellent Customer Service orientation, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and handle complex stakeholder needs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with comfort engaging executive-level stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical abilities, capable of using data to drive decision-making and performance improvement.
