Brightwater Executive is delighted to be retained exclusively by the Rehab Group to appoint a Director of Fundraising. About the Organisation For more than 70 years, the Rehab Group has been working to break down the barriers that prevent people with disabilities from living ordinary lives in their communities. An independent voluntary organisation, Rehab Group enables more than 12,800 people with disabilities to live lives of their choosing across Ireland, Scotland and Poland delivering Care services, Learning and Education, and Employment skills and opportunities.

As the organisation enters its next phase of strategic growth, Rehab Group is now seeking to appoint a Director of Fundraising to lead the development and delivery of an ambitious, sustainable fundraising strategy. About the Role Reporting to the Deputy CEO and working closely with the Board Fundraising Committee and Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Fundraising will provide strategic and operational leadership across all income-generating activity. This is a role for a commercially sharp, mission-driven fundraising leader someone who can build and grow a high-performing team, deepen donor and partner relationships, and drive diversified income growth across a complex, high-profile organisation.

Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy with clear KPIs and diversified, sustainable income streams across Individual Giving, Major Gifts, Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations, Community, Events and Digital. Lead a structured major gifts and philanthropy programme, partnering with the Chief Executive and Board on the cultivation and stewardship of high-capacity prospects. Build, scale and develop the fundraising team and function, designing the structure, roles and ways of working required to deliver Rehab's income ambition.

Act as a senior ambassador for the organisation, building and stewarding high-value relationships with donors, corporates, philanthropic bodies and sector networks. Ensure strong governance, compliance and reporting across all fundraising activity, meeting Charities Regulator standards and providing regular performance updates to the CEO, SLT and Board. Experience/Requirements Minimum of seven years in senior fundraising leadership at Director or Head-of-Function level, with a proven track record of delivering multi-million-euro annual income targets.

Demonstrable experience across the full breadth of fundraising disciplines, including Major Gifts, Corporate Partnerships, Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Digital and Events. Track record in major gifts and philanthropy, including building a major donor portfolio and securing six- and seven-figure gifts, with experience engaging Boards and senior volunteer leadership. Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing fundraising team, including P&L ownership and clear ROI accountability.

Experience operating in a complex, mixed-funding environment; alignment with Rehab's mission and values is paramount. Remuneration Package Salary range โ‚ฌ89,265 โ‚ฌ120,771 with a range of Benefits.
