Job Description
Responsibilities and Qualifications Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for ETL solutions. Designing and developing DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data. Using various DataStage stages (e.g., Transformer, Aggregator, Lookup, Filter) to manipulate data.
Creating job sequences using Autosys to orchestrate the execution of multiple jobs. Experience in Git and Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Python skills and good knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL Manage and maintain DataStage server environments, ensuring system stability and performance. Analyzing and optimizing existing ETL jobs for performance improvements.Troubleshooting ETL job failures and identifying root causes while doing the migration. Monitoring job execution and proactively addressing potential issues.
Implement and maintain best practices for ETL design and creation. Have hands on experience on DataStage migration or upgrade from on prem to cloud. Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
