Data Analyst - M&A / Private Equity

PE investors call RingStone when they need to know what's really going on inside a company's technology, before they invest. We're looking for someone early in their career who wants a genuine seat at that table.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you'll work directly alongside senior technology and investment professionals on live private equity engagements, supporting technical due diligence projects and value creation work inside portfolio companies.

What You Will Do

• Gather, clean, and analyze data supporting due diligence and value creation engagements
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to investors and senior stakeholders
• Support senior practitioners directly on client engagements across varied business and technology contexts
• Help maintain and develop the benchmarking data underpinning RingStone's advisory work
• Contribute ideas to improve our analytical tools and processes

What We Are Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or consulting
• Extremely high attention to detail. You catch what others miss
• Solid SQL and Excel skills, plus Python or R
• Comfortable with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong communicator to technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Self-directed and organized enough to manage multiple projects remotely
• This is an independent contractor (PJ) position, in accordance with Brazilian regulations

Nice to Have

• Fluency in additional languages
• Evidence of self-directed learning. Online courses, certifications, or skills picked up outside formal education
• Awareness of the AI landscape (agents, MCPs, LLM APIs), ideally with hands-on experimentation
• Exposure to consulting, professional services, or client-facing work, with an interest in M&A and/or private equity
