Customer Service Representative

This is a busy and varied customer service position where you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service across phone, email and face-to-face interactions.

Working within a collaborative team environment, you will be responsible for managing enquiries, processing orders and quotations, and supporting customers with product and pricing information. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and at the trade counter
• Prepare, process and follow-up quotations and sales orders
• Convert customer enquiries into sales opportunities
• Provide product and pricing advice across a range of steel building products
• Coordinate customer requirements with internal teams including sales, warehouse and operations
• Manage order processing and ensure customer delivery expectations are met
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Resolve customer enquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
• Support the wider team with administrative and customer service activities as required

What you will need to succeed

• Previous experience in customer service, administration or internal sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach
• Experience within construction, manufacturing, trade or industrial environments will be highly regarded
