Role Description The Cricket Coach based in Bhubaneswar, Orissa (India), role is a contract position responsible for delivering high-quality cricket coaching locally at certain areas and guidance through the Striide platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning structured training sessions, focusing on skills development across batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, and game awareness for young players in Bhubaneswar and beyond. The coach will adapt sessions for different age groups and ability levels, ensuring safety, inclusivity, and engagement in all training materials.

The role involves collaborating with Striide’s content and product teams, providing feedback on training modules, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the coaching ecosystem. The coach may also interact with schools, clubs, and families to support implementation of sessions and encourage long-term participation in cricket.

Qualifications

• Strong cricket-specific expertise, including advanced knowledge of Cricket and practical experience in Cricket Coaching.
• Demonstrated Coaching and Training skills, with the ability to design age-appropriate, skill-based practice plans and progressions.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear instruction, constructive feedback, and the ability to engage youth audiences remotely.
• Experience coaching girls’ or youth cricket programs, with a commitment to safety, inclusion, and confidence-building.
• Relevant coaching certifications or licenses from recognized cricket or sports bodies are highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with digital tools and remote coaching platforms; comfort with recording video content and using basic technology.
• Strong ethical standards, respect for privacy and safeguarding, and alignment with Striide’s mission to level the playing field.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and reliably meet content and schedule commitments in a contract setting.
