Position Overview: The Program Coordinator will be the lead for several elements of the Pathways to Careers in Foodservice program. The role will be supervised and supported by the Director of Workforce Development (“Program Director”). The Program Coordinator role involves a strong emphasis on data collection and documentation using the Microsoft Office suite of tools and an online Government reporting portal.
The position will be predominantly administrative, reporting and documentation focused, requiring interaction with restaurants, partners and stakeholders as necessary to achieve project outcomes.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Management and processing of restaurant registrations and grant applications
· Track application submissions, follow-up points, approvals and disbursements in collaboration with Program Director
· Review application documentation for accuracy and completion
· Coordinate with Program Director to ensure:
- Participant tracking throughout training period (first 3-months of employment) is collected from restaurants
- Grant disbursements are accurately tracked and monitored
- Participant retention data is collected and recorded at 6, 9, and 12 months
Lead person for EOIS-CaMS documentation and uploads
· Ensure documentation is collected and uploaded as per Ministry requirements
· Provide guidance to internal Restaurants Canada staff that will support with EOIS-CaMS documentation
Supporting the use of Kibbi by restaurants as a youth recruitment tool
· Liaise between restaurants and Kibbi as necessary to distribute licenses for use
· Identify leads for pushing out 25 Kibbi licenses as per program deliverables
· Track restaurant introductions and account activations
Supporting restaurants throughout the program
· Advise on eligibility and documentation requirements for grant applications
· Troubleshoot issues with registrations and grant applications
Supporting development of service partner network
· Attend conferences and events as necessary to network and find new service partners
Promote Pathways program
· Contribute content for program promotion in RC publications
· Talk to restaurants at the RC Show to encourage program access and answer questions
The role may involve meetings with our MLITSD Employment Training Consultant as necessary, and will require facilitation of MLITSD reporting and data collection to confirm KPIs, as well as input into program processes and documents / material to support restaurants.
Required Skills
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital systems

· Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in the administration and management of programs supported through government grants
· Demonstrable administrative, process oriented, and stakeholder engagement skills
Hybrid Environment: This position is three days a week – Tuesday through Thursday (this is flexible) and requires at least two days per month in-office.

Salary range: $39,000 – $42,200 (CAD), based on experience and qualifications.
