Clinical Nurse Specialist

Overview The Christie Macmillan Secondary Breast Cancer Nursing Team are looking for an experienced, dynamic nurse who is passionate about the patient experience and the delivery of quality patient-focused care to join their award-winning team as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist. This role acts as a keyworker to patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and provides support and information throughout their cancer pathway, as well as participation in service development. Responsibilities Act as a keyworker to patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, providing support and information throughout their cancer pathway. Participate in service development. Qualifications / Experience Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience. Previous experience in breast oncology. Ideally, some palliative care knowledge and experience in managing patients with advancing disease. Advanced communication skills are essential.
