Clinical Nurse II: South Clinical Campus OR

This vital role encompasses direct patient care and integral participation in our efforts toward educational excellence and innovative healthcare solutions. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced nursing care, contributing to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes through research-driven practices.

Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients. Participate in surgical procedures as part of the OR nursing team. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other health professionals.

Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health maintenance.

Participate in research activities and continuing education to remain at the forefront of nursing practices. Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate OR equipment safely.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in managing multiple patient requirements simultaneously. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS/CPR certification. Preferably certified in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR).
