About the Role
As a Civil Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and engineering support across the civil works package for the Stage 1A Expansion project in Kwinana, WA.
Reporting to the Construction Manager or Project Manager, you will support the delivery of civil construction activities from design review through to construction, commissioning, and quality assurance. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements, Australian Standards, and client specifications.
Key Areas of Focus
- Provide engineering support across civil construction activities, including design review, installation, and commissioning.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support quality assurance, subcontractor performance, risk management, and project reporting.
- Ensure delivery aligns with safety, quality, and project objectives.
About You
You are an experienced Civil Engineer with a background delivering infrastructure, construction, utilities, or water projects. You bring strong project engineering capability, with experience supporting site delivery, contractor coordination, technical compliance, and quality outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years’ experience in engineering roles, including project engineering experience.
- Experience delivering civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of civil construction activities including earthworks, concrete structures, foundations, and drainage.
- Experience with design review, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and site delivery.
- Strong understanding of HSE, quality, and project delivery processes.
