We are currently searching for an experienced civil design engineer with experience working on large land development projects here in Victoria or other states. Ideally, you will have been exposed to 12d and still have a passion for design, whilst also enjoying being out on site, working with stakeholders and bringing the project together.
You will enjoy a flexible approach to work, a collaborative work culture and plenty of opportunity for career growth as you will be working directly with the senior engineer and team leader, allowing instant feedback on design issues.
About The Civil Design Engineer Role
- Contribute to design (12d) across varied works like roads, drainage, water/sewer systems.
- Develop comprehensive technical reports, design calculations, and drawings.
- Communicate regularly with various disciplines to coordinate and integrate design effectively.
- Apply extensive knowledge of Australian design standards, local council standards, and other relevant regulations and standards for subdivision design.
Civil Design Engineer Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience designing and modelling civil works, including roads and drainage.
- Background as a professional civil engineer in land development projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD (or equivalent software).
- Professional registration or willingness to obtain it.
