Chartered Accountant

Role Overview

NR Consulting is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage company finance, accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, income tax, financial statements, audits, and business finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, finance, and compliance activities.
• Review books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow reports, and management reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, advance tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal departments.
• Support statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
• Review vendor payments, client invoices, receivables, payables, and expense controls.
• Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance documentation.
• Monitor financial controls, process improvements, and accounting accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial planning.
• Advise management on finance, tax, compliance, and business-related financial matters.

Required Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, and MIS preparation.
• Good understanding of cash flow, budgeting, cost control, and business finance.
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting software.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and ownership.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in staffing, consulting, IT services, or service-based companies will be preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing basics, and foreign remittances will be an advantage.
• Experience working with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting tools.

Qualification

• Chartered Accountant, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should be commercially sharp, detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and comfortable working closely with leadership. The person should be able to keep the company financially clean, tax-ready, and audit-proof, because finance surprises are rarely fun surprises.
