We are looking for a motivated CAD design engineer with strong SolidWorks skills who wants hands-on experience and long-term growth in mechanical design.

About the Role

You will work on real fabrication and mechanical design projects for international clients in the fencing and fabrication industry.

\n

This role provides direct project responsibility, client exposure, and practical experience in professional engineering workflows.

\n

It is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong career in mechanical design and CAD engineering.

Required Technical Skills

\n

- Strong SolidWorks proficiency:

\n

\n
• Part modelling
\n
• Assemblies
\n
• Weldments
\n
• Sheet metal
\n
• Proper drawing detailing
\n

\n

- Good understanding of:

\n

\n
• Assembly relationships and constraints
\n
• Manufacturing drawings
\n
• GD&T basics (preferred)
\n

\n

- Ability to create and update:

\n

\n
• Sheet formats
\n
• Drawing templates
\n
• BOM tables
\n

\n

- Good eye for detail in modelling and drafting

\n

Communication Requirements

• Good spoken English
\n
• Professional email writing skills
\n
• Ability to understand overseas client instructions

• Able to interpret technical requirements with minimal supervision

Education & Experience

\n

\n
• Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
\n
• Experience: 3 years minium
\n

Work Schedule

\n

Monday - Friday

\n

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible start)

Saturday - Half-day (typically until 1:00 PM). Occasionally, a full Saturday may be required during periods of high project workload.

This is an on-site role based in Mohali.
