Business Development Manager Etobicoke, ON Distribution & Rental Services Salary $60,000–$65,000 base salary plus Commission + Benefits Our client, a well-established player in the rental services space, is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong focus on new business development and revenue generation . This sales role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and converting opportunities into long‑term clients. While relationship management is part of the role, the primary mandate is to identify, pursue, and close new business across events, production, and commercial rental markets.

The Role Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across events, production, and commercial clients Build and manage a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close and client onboarding Develop tailored proposals and pricing aligned with client needs and project scope Collaborate closely with Operations and Logistics to ensure seamless execution post-sale Maintain and grow newly won accounts, focusing on repeat business and long‑term value Attend industry events, site visits, and client meetings to drive visibility and generate leads Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets The Ideal Candidate 2–5+ years of experience in business development or sales , ideally within rentals, events, creative services, logistics, or a service‑minded B2B environment Proven track record of generating net‑new business and closing deals Strong prospecting ability with confidence in cold outreach and relationship building Comfortable in a performance‑driven, commission‑based environment with excellent earning potential Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision‑makers Highly self‑motivated, competitive, and resilient with a proactive mindset Experience in fast‑paced, target‑based environments is a strong asset JobID#16817383 #J-18808-Ljbffr
