Position: Business Analyst Location: Montréal QC H3A 2A6 Duration: 9 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Onsite Shift: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm Payrate:$ 375.00-600.00/ Daily Overview: TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide. The company operates through two divisions, Retail Banking and Services, and Corporate and Institutional Banking Job Description: The function covers objective assurance and consulting activity designed to improve an organization operations by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

May also be responsible for liaising with the Risk and Compliance functions. This role is found where individuals cover a broad area of responsibilities rather than focusing on one specific role. Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of a company risk management, control and governance practices, with recommendations for improvement where necessary. and best practices.

Makes recommendations to Business Unit Owners. Provides detailed feedback to business unit management. Responsibilities The Business Analyst will report to the Canada Chief Data Officer.

The role will be supporting data privacy and protection activities. This will involve reporting functionally to the Data Privacy & Protection Manager. The Business analyst will drive and contribute to the team implementation of the data office framework ensuring its execution and maintenance, as well as working in close collaboration with business partners, technology, and other stakeholders.

Data Privacy Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data privacy procedures, guidelines, and training materials in line with regulatory requirements. Work with Business and Functions teams to ensure data privacy measures are integrated across all functions and that there is proper governance of personal data. Perform Privacy Impact Assessments to ensure the organization’s data processing activities meet privacy standards.

Contribute to the maintenance of the inventory of data processing activities, ensuring proper documentation and categorization of personal data being collected, stored, or shared. Training and Awareness: Conduct regular privacy awareness training for employees to educate them about best practices and regulatory obligations related to data privacy. Evaluate potential risks related to data processing activities and third-party vendor data handling and recommend mitigations to reduce exposure.

Qualifications: Training And Occupational Experience Bachelor's degree from accredited university 5-7 plus years of professional experience ideally in data governance or data privacy and as a business analyst Preferred experience in data management, governance, privacy, controls, or process improvement. Experience preparing senior management presentations and large data sets Elevated level of ability in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Skills And Behaviours Analytical and problem solving, with a keen sense for processes, analysis, and documentation Rigorous, pro-active, self-disciplined, self-motivated Able to manage changing priorities and meet high quality standards in a fast-paced environment Creative thinker and problem solver with an eye toward leveraging data and technology to create more efficient business processes, and automate and integrate critical workflow processes and controls Ability to conduct / support working discussion in English and French TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
