Business Analyst – Policy Implementation (Financial Services)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of policy and governance initiatives across its Financial Services operations. Working closely with the Head of Operations and key business stakeholders, you will be responsible for analysing and mapping business processes, supporting policy implementation, and ensuring operational risks are identified, tracked, and reported through appropriate governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document policy implementation processes across the business.
• Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements.
• Develop current and future state process maps and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of new policies, ensuring they are embedded into operational processes.
• Identify, track, and report operational risks, issues, and dependencies to the Head of Operations.
• Produce high-quality business documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and gap analysis.
• Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Project teams to ensure successful delivery of change initiatives.
• Support governance reporting and continuous process improvement activities.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services.
• Strong experience in business process mapping, business analysis, and operational change.
• Experience supporting policy, governance, risk, or regulatory change initiatives.
• Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and facilitate stakeholder workshops.
• Experience working with Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and operational risk reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar business analysis tools is desirable.
