Business Analyst

Job Title - Business Analyst - Reporting & Planning Department Operations / Business Support Job Purpose The Business Analyst - Reporting & Planning will be responsible for compiling, validating, and analyzing data across departments to support business performance tracking, reporting, and strategic planning. The role will also involve preparing presentations, P&L summaries, and providing insights and guidance to management for better decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data. • Compile and analyze data for weekly, monthly, and ad hoc performance reports. • Support P&L tracking by analyzing revenue, costs, and key variances. • Prepare clear presentations and dashboards for management review. • Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities through data analysis. • Support strategy planning by providing insights and performance summaries. • Guide management with data-based recommendations for better decision-making. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports and submissions. • Work closely with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve reporting efficiency.

Required Skills • Strong analytical and reporting skills. • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. • Understanding of P&L and business performance analysis. • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage timelines. • Strong attention to detail and communication skills. • Ability to present data in a simple and meaningful way. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. • 3 to 6 years of experience in data analysis, MIS reporting, business support, reporting, or planning. • Exposure to operations, finance, or management reporting will be an advantage.
